Artistic Freedom Initiative (AFI) has published this report on the present state of affairs on artistic freedom in Hungary in the context of the existential crises facing artists and arts institutions in Hungary. This report on Hungary is the first of AFI's country specific reports on artistic suppression.

The report needed a strong visual language to represent the seriousness of the topic but also a creative and typographic flexibility. Additionally, artworks could not be used as this potentially might identify the people AFI spoke to.

The report follows a flexible grid which offers consistency yet allows for design and layout variation.
